nginx
Serves this website, sets the security headers and forwards exactly two paths.
/api/status
Goes to our own API manager (APISIX). It checks the services and returns the result.
/api/company
Receives consultation requests from the form and counts page views, without third parties.

Nextcloud for files, sharing and sync.

Customer area for websites and domains, sign-in via Authentik.

Your browser only asks brunnerit.at/api/status. The website runs no checks of its own.
It checks every service at the moment of the request. That takes a few seconds, so nginx keeps the answer for 5 seconds for all visitors.
HTTP status, response time and error text come straight from the check. Missing values are never estimated.
